6 Week Pottery Workshop Tuesday October 6 - Nov 10
This pottery class will be a mix of hand building as well as wheel throwing. Beginners are welcome! There are three pottery wheels in the studio. We will rotate throughout the class so everyone has ample time to create!
-Class will be on Tuesday evenings from 6-8:30pm
The 6 week includes five 2.5hr building classes, and one glazing class

6 Week Wood Firing (Anagama) Workshop October 7 - Nov 11
This pottery class will be a mix of hand building as well as wheel throwing. The class is for intermediate potters who are already comfortable with creating basic forms in the studio. In class we will dive into creating with cone 10 clay, learning about bisque firing, wadding, simple liner glazes, and prepping pots for loading into the anagama in early winter. You will have the opportunity to join a firing shift (or multiple) and have a chance to learn about wood selection, stoking techniques, and general wood kiln function.
It may sound daunting, however, we will take it step by step to ensure everyone is comfortable with the process!
-Class will be on Wednesdat evenings from 6-8:30pm
The 6 week includes five 2.5hr building classes, and one class where we partially glaze and apply wadding to the pots.
- cost $485
- fee is due upon registration
- This will be the first firing in the new wood kiln. We are very excited to see how the kiln will fire, however nothing is guaranteed in pottery. If the firing is not satisfactory we will have another opportunity to re-fire the pots in the future. Pots can be re-fired many times to achieve better results.
